This book is an excellent choice for people who want to get started but have little experience in real estate investing. The thing I like about him is that he shows you all his real-life examples of deals he has done and how they can be applied to your everyday life. His best-selling book was updated recently, so I’d recommend getting a copy if you want to learn more about investing in real estate. I have used these methods personally and have already seen great results!
Clueless: How Not To Lose Your Shirt in Your First Apartment Building Deal
This humorous and honest book by industry expert Steve Bergsman is a must-read if you’re just getting started in real estate investing. The author starts with how not to lose your shirt, and then lays out a step-by-step process of how to find, finance, purchase, and manage your first deal.
There are also some great checklists included at the end of each chapter so you can make sure you haven’t missed anything. For beginners, we can’t recommend it enough! It’ll get you off on the right foot before your next deal comes along.
How to Become a Successful Real Estate Investor
How to Be a Real Estate Investor 1st Edition, Kindle Edition by Phil Pustejovsky is exactly what it says it is: a comprehensive guide to becoming a successful real estate investor. I’ve found that real estate investing can be quite complex, so having an easy-to-follow book with clear instructions makes all of the difference in whether or not you use it to guide your career path or just let it collect dust on your bookshelf.
